The Binghamton City School District Board of Education was honored Tuesday morning as part of National School Board Recognition Week. Students at MacArthur hosted board members to celebrate their work and dedication to our schools, staff, and students.
Band & orchestra students from MacArthur shared their talents with board members while they enjoyed a breakfast catered by BCSD Food Services. Following the breakfast, students presented the Board of Education members with arrangements of handmade paper flowers as a thank you for their commitment to the district.
The annual event is a small gesture to acknowledge all that the BCSD Board of Education does throughout the year to ensure Binghamton students receive the best education in the classroom, and have access to a variety of programs and opportunities outside of it. Thank you our Board for all you do!
