Several Binghamton City School District students put together wonderful works of literature and are getting a big pat on the back from WSKG!
Students from across the area made submissions to the WSKG Student Writing Challenge. The contest featured poetry, fiction, and nonfiction writing, allowing students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade to showcase their creativity.
The students below placed for their respective categories:
First Place, Best Poetry Grades 2-3

Third Place, Best Nonfiction Grades 6-8
“To Lose Your Grandparents” – Mina Saleh, 8th Grade, East Middle School
