BHS Alum/ Grammy Winner Speaks to Students

On Wednesday, Oct. 3, Binghamton High School Alum/ Grammy Award winning artist, Andy Hall visited music students to talk about his career. Hall is a founding member of The Infamous Stringdusters, a progressive acoustic/bluegrass band. The band emerged in 2007 with the album ‘Fork in the Road.’ In 2018, they won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album for “Laws of Gravity.” Hall is a graduate of the Binghamton High School class of 1993, and has played Dobro with numerous famous artists such as Dolly Parton, Earl Scruggs, Emmylou Harris, Zack Brown and Charlie Daniels. Hall will be honored as one of the 2018 distinguished gradates at the annual dinner on Oct. 4, 2018.
